New Website!

MYSSA is happy to announce our new website design and functionality.  Since our early website, much has changed in regard to security, Americans with Disabilities and of course AI.  The redesign is much more compatible to cell phone applications than in the past.  MYSSA works with over 200 teams in Missouri reaching well over 25,000 youth and 60 events each year.

Some features we have added include:

  • Events right up front since website analytics revealed that is the number one reason folks visit the site.
  • Events are now sortable by date.
  • Anyone can now input an event that we can add to the calendar
  • Event results can also be accessed through the events page
  • Our page is now linked to the Midway USA Foundation so anyone can access information from the foundation about your team, or teams can be located when needed.  Clicking on the Midway USA Link will take you directly to their web portal where you can enter team information.
  • Keep in mind this is also a portal you can direct people to for donations to your team accounts.
  • On that Youth Page are many youth shooting resources one can access for more information.
  • As you know MYSSA supports post baccalaureate education and here you can see collegiate coaches and teams that provide shooting opportunities beyond high school.
  • As well, Collegiate coaches may add their contact information on this page.  This is a great resource for accessing scholarship availability.
  • New coaches may submit their information, and we will replace any outdated information.
  • Our new Newsletter page lets you see all the newsletters previously posted.  Newsletters will again be sent out so be sure and submit your name and email on that page, so you do not miss any newsletters.
  • All newsletters will go out to everyone with one per month provided.
  • Our contact page now includes an FAQ section for folks new to the site or youth shooting. Topics include:
    • How do I form a team?
    • Where can I shoot?
    • How do I get in touch with the Midway USA Foundation regarding my endowment?
    • What are shooting competitions supported by MYSSA?
    • Are range grants available to improve, build and enhance shooting venues?
    • Are Coaching Grants available?
    • How do I find a team near me to shoot with?
    • Are matching grants available through MYSSA?
    • Who should I contact for more information on MYSSA?
  • MYSSA is funded through the Midway USA Foundation where we currently hold a $1.3M endowment.  Like you, we draw 5% each year.  Our goal is to grow the account to $2.5M with your donations.
  • Please keep in mind your team may grow their endowment each year and in doing so has the same opportunity to receive a 5% disbursement to help your team each year.  Links are provided to help you.

We hope you will spend some time on our new website and explore the variety of resources and links that will help your youth shooter, team, parents, schools, and organizations grow.
