DEADLINE FOR PRE-SQUAD entry – Both Events: October 1, 2024 – 9 p.m.
No late registrations will be accepted, no onsite registrations accepted.
Divisions (Trap):
Collegiate: Shooters must be currently enrolled in a trade school, junior college or college/university
High School Open: Squad of 5 currently in high school grades 9 through 12.
Junior High Open: Students currently in 8th grade and below.
FFA: Squad of 5 from same high school, grades 9 through 12.
Ladies: Any all-female squad, high school or below
Squad Awards (Trap): Team trophy and medals to all 5 squad members
Collegiate: First Place, Runner-up, and Third
High School Open: First, Runner-up, and Third
Junior High Open: First, Runner-up, and Third
FFA: First, Runner-up, and Third
Ladies: First, Runner-up, and Third
Individual Awards (Trap): (Medals w/ribbons)
HOA – Champion, Runner-up and Third
Collegiate: Champion, Runner-up, Third, Fourth and Fifth
High School: Champion, Runner-up, Third, Fourth and Fifth
Jr. High: Champion, Runner-up, Third, Fourth and Fifth
FFA: Champion, Runner-up, Third, Fourth and Fifth
Lady: Champion, Runner-up, Third, Fourth and Fifth
Note: Lady must declare upon entry to be eligible; Ladies individual division is for high school and below athletes
Shoot-off procedure (Trap):
Placement for Individual HOA, Team Category and Individual Category will be determined by reverse sub event in the case of a tie. If still tied after all 4 sub events, reverse long then forward (if necessary) will be used to determine the winners. If ties cannot be broken in this manner, athletes will shoot off for position. Shoot off procedures at the discretion of management with respects to yardage, etc.

Shoot-off procedure (Sporting Clays):
Shoot-offs will Only be for HOA and Champion of each Individual Category if unable to determine by scores at pre-determined stations. Order of tie breaking stations will be selected and posted prior to the start of the event. Any perfect scores will be shot-off for placement using true pair targets at pre-determined stations.
Registration notes for Sporting Clays:
Squadding will be available on www.youth-trapshooting.com website. We are utilizing the same software that is used for the trap events. When registering, “trap 1” will start on sporting station #1; “trap 2” will start on sporting station #2; etc.
Sporting notes:
Squad scores will be the combined score of 5 athletes, registered on the same “trap”. Targets will consist of true pairs, report pairs and following pairs. Number of pairs and presentation will be defined at each station. Teams must check in at the sporting clays tent 30 minutes prior to the flight time for necessary safety/event instructions. Teams may not enter the course until event management releases flights to report to their assigned stations. Stations may not be “skipped” or taken out of order. Athlete order will rotate at each station.
All ATA Safety Rules apply.
No saddle type ATV’s, UTV must be registered with MTA management, proof of insurance required, operated only by licensed driver.
NO COACH, PARENT, OR SPECTATOR MAY PROCEED FORWARD OF THE BACK SIDEWALK AT ANY TIME EXCEPT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OR GUN MALFUNCTION!
