The Spring Break Em’s are Upon Us

Very soon all will gear up for the first competitive shoots of 2025. For most, those shoots begin with MYSSA’s Spring Break Em’s (SBE) and those events continue to grow. Here are venues that have spring shoots so you can better plan and a link to our events page:

We encourage you to shoot more than one SBE. These are great events with awards, and they go a long way in supporting local shooting venues.
MYSSA SPRING BREAK ‘EM GENERAL INFORMATION
Event host will choose a date between the end of February and the date of the Paul Larsen Memorial Missouri State Trapshooting Championship.
Event details:
100 targets shot from the 16-yard line.
Eligibility: shooter must be current elementary, junior high or high school student.
Out-of-state and home school entries welcome.
Divisions: High School (grade 9 through 12)
Junior High (grade 8 and under)
Ladies
Awards: Top Squad Plaque awarded to winning squad with 5 gold medals for squad members.
Individual Awards: Medals
High Overall – First, Runner-up, Third (Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals)
High School – First, Runner-up, Third
Junior High – First, Runner-up, Third
Ladies – First, Runner-up, Third
