MYSSA is working on providing more shooting opportunities for youth throughout Missouri.  As we enter the off season for most of us, I would like to provide a sneak peek of what we are working on for 2021.

MYSSA will host the statewide Spring Break’em events for 2021.  The challenges of 2020 made it hard for clubs to get their local event in.  Participation numbers were good for those who did.

We hope to add even more shooting discipline events for the summer of 2021.  We are working with Frontier Justice in Lee Summit to provide and educational and competitive handgun event that I am very excited about.  Cowboy Action and 3 Gun events are also something we are looking into for opportunities for youth shooters.

The Fall Classic this year was changed from a Trap event to a Skeet/Sporting Clays combo event. We are overjoyed with the success and responses we received from that event.  So much so we are working on adding a similar event in the spring of 2021.  In 2021 we intend for the Fall Classic to be a Trap event again. We are also interested in adding Skeet and Sporting Clays as well and making it a multi-day event.

So, stay tuned to MYSSA’s Facebook page and website for updates on the events for 2021.
